Overview: We a seek a motivated scientist to join a protein biochemistry and crystallography core laboratory at the Dana-Farber Cancer institute. The successful candidate will work with an interdisciplinary team including medicinal chemists, structural biologists, and cancer biologists to generate protein reagents for the development of inhibitors and chemical probes (see for example Tanaka et al., Nature Chem Bio 2016).
Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities will include protein expression and purification. Experience with insect cell/baculovirus systems a plus. Experience with biochemical and biophysical methods a plus.
Qualifications: Bachelor, Master, or Graduate degree required with a focus on biology or protein chemistry preferred.
