Welcome to the Structural & Chemical Biology Center
Our laboratory answers biochemical and structural biology questions in fields related to cancer research and a focus on transcriptional and translational cellular processes, which mediate key cellular and disease phenotypes. As reaction and regulatory mechanisms remain obscure, we believe that a better molecular and structural understanding may reveal novel cancer drug targets. We therefore generate high quality protein reagents and execute biophysical, biochemical, and structural characterization experiments to uncover novel mechanisms of action. And within integrated teams of clinicians, biologists, and chemists, we perform in-vitro studies that facilitate development of novel therapeutic treatments.
